Microneedling Treatments

Microneedling Therapy is a minimally invasive skin-rejuvenation procedure that involves the use of a device that contains fine needles. The needles are used to puncture the outer layer of skin (Epidermis) creating a controlled skin injury that triggers the body's own system to fill these microscopic wounds by producing new collagen and elastin. This procedure enhances skin texture and firmness, improves scar appearance, decreases pore size, reduces fine lines, corrects hyperpigmentation/sunspots and improves stretch marks.

 

Unlike other treatments offered, Microneedling improves hyperpigmentation in the skin and can be done over areas of skin that may not be suitable for chemical peeling or laser resurfacing such as, around the eyes and mouth, hands, and chest. This procedure is an alternative to lasers and deep chemical peels that offers minimal downtime and can  be personalized where skin damage requires a more drastic cell turnover rate.

 

Maintenance treatments are typically necessary about once every three months. The recovery time usually lasts anywhere from one day to one week that includes minor redness, peeling and dry skin associated with your microneedling treatment and are all a normal part of the skins healing process that resolves quickly.
